There are multiple forms of attraction: romantic, sexual, platonic, romantic, and sensual attraction. Asexuals can feel any form of attraction besides sexual attraction. The different attractions are defined as such:
-platonic attraction: the desire for friendship with a certain individual. Also called a squish. -aesthetic attraction: finding a certain individual's appearance attractive or pleasing to the eye. Aesthetic attraction can occur on its own, or with sensual and/or sexual and/or romantic and/or platonic attraction. -romantic attraction: the desire for a romantic (but not necessarily sexual) relationship with a certain individual. Also called a crush. Romantic attraction can occur on its own, or with sensual and/or sexual attraction. -sensual attraction: the desire for sensual contact (hugging, cuddling, kissing, holding hands) with a certain individual. This is often, but not always, accompanied by sexual and/or romantic attraction. -sexual attraction: the desire for have sexual contact with a certain individual. This is often, but not necessarily, accompanied by romantic and/or sensual attraction.

I've always loved the picture for aesthetic attraction. "Please don't be scarred, I just want to admire your beauty!"
