Hi, I'm Aya. I'm still kinda figuring stuff out, but for now I'm going with aromantic asexual (or just "queer" in public settings - I publicly identified as gay for 5 years and I'm still vaguely terrified of what will happen if the community in general finds out that that changed).
I'm 23, chronically unemployed, chronically ill (it's more of a disability, but people seem to understand it better in illness terms), and chronically political. I'm a mother to two beautiful cats, and I seem to spend most of my time either in the garden or at the piercing studio. I'm vegan and getting into foraging for food as well as growing my own now that I'm in a flat that lets me dig up the garden. I get overly excited about new Abney Park albums and Welcome to Night Vale episodes. I don't do tv (in fact we don't even have one in the flat) and don't really do movies, but I definitely do science fiction (reading, writing, and occasionally watching). I'm currently spending most of my time sorting out the garden, making my summer clothes (btw, I'm in New Zealand), and training for the roller derby home season final which we are totally going to win.
