What I'm Doing For Asexual Awareness Week

I'm going to be wearing ace colors every day and of course I'll be wearing my ace ring! I'll wear my asexual flag cape a few times maybe (but if I wear it to school, I'd only do it once during the week) and i'll make some cake or something! Fun.

I'll try and bring in ace cupcakes one day during the week to share at lunch, and of course wearing the colors and flags all over

I wrote a fanfiction this week about asexual!France (from Hetalia; if you're not familiar with that, it's an anime about personified countries) to celebrate (if anyone wants to read it I'd be happy to share early here, as I'm not posting it to FanFiction or ArchiveOfOurOwn until AAW) and I also ordered an "Aces In Your Faces" t-shirt from Zazzle, so I'll be wearing that on the days I have class, Tuesday and Thursday, hopefully, if it arrives on time.

My school's GSA starts meeting during Awareness Week. I don't think we'll do anything though.Who knows?

Updaaaaaaaaate!
So we had a little asexuality awareness thing with cake-ish food available during GSA today. There were significantly more people there than usual! Everyone there but the faculty adviser had a fairly high level of knowledge about asexuality already (yay)! So there was a little bit of informing and a discussion that I thought went well for the most part. It got a little off-topic and some people said some sorta weirdish thing, but otherwise it was good! I did not specifically say that I was ace, but due to the combination of my ace ring, my outfit being solely comprised of the colors of the asexual flag, the fact that I volunteered some relevant, not so obvious, important information, and the fact that when asked to raise your hand high depending on how much I knew about asexuality I raised my hands as high as was physically possible for me, those who did not already know I was asexual may have been able to guess. Ah well. I did not feel threatened or uncomfortable so!
