I realized I was asexual around july. I've only bothered to tell my mom and dad. First I had to explain what asexuality was, but my mom said she's just glad I'm not gay >.< and my dad's reaction was basically "oh okay". The only problem was that my mom was disappointed that I had no intention of giving her grandkids, but she already has three so she should be fine. Overall I'd say they've been pretty understanding. I'm aromantic so they've stopped bugging me about marriage and kids.
