Hi all,
My name is Kristy. I'm 22, biromantic asexual. I discovered the term asexual a few years back and it has changed my life. I stopped feeling like I was broken and finally started to love myself. I even run an ace blog on Tumblr now which I love doing. I didn't think it would really amount to anything when I started life-of-an-asexual but now I feel like I'm actually helping people which is wonderful.
I go to school full time and I work a full time job so my life is pretty hectic. I'm trying to become a teacher and right now I work as a tutor with my local school district. In my free time I spend a lot of time on Tumblr and watching TV shows. I love Supernatural and Teen Wolf. I also love to write and I am constantly either writing of planning books and stories and even fanfiction.
So, that's basically me. I'm glad to be here and hope to meet all sorts of fun new people.

Welcome, Kristy! I know what you mean about finally discovering it. I was 26 when I finally figured it out myself. It felt amazing to know I wasn't just "throwing years away" for no real reason other than possible "prudeness". How on Earth do you manage both a job and school, though? Holy crap! Kudos to you and all your hard work.
May I ask what you're studying besides a teaching degree? (If that is what you're studying right now, of course) While I love most of Moffat's stuff...I've avoided Supernatural, myself. Much much too triggering for the easily frightened agoraphobic me, unfortunately. But I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I manage a job and school by having no social life. I've got a girlfriend who is long distance and we talk all the time but other than that I don't do much besides work and school. I'm pursuing Elementary Education with an emphasis on Mathematics right now. Which is kind of ironic because I used to despise math. As I got older I started to really like it though.
I completely understand what you mean when you say Supernatural can be triggering. It's definitely not a show for everyone. It is a wonderful show though and I probably spend way more time watching and re-watching the episodes than I should.

Hi! It's nice to meet you on here. I think I may be following your tumblr. I just joined here because someone (idk who, it may have even been you) on tumblr recommended this site!
